Hawaii Five-0 is an American procedural crime drama television series and a re-imagining of the original 1968–1980 television series.
Hawaii Five-0 debuted on CBS, the same network that aired the original version. Like the original version, it follows an elite unit/task force set up to fight crime in the state of Hawaii. It premiered on Monday, September 20, 2010, 42 years to the date from the premiere of the original show, September 20, 1968. On October 21, 2010, CBS announced that Hawaii Five-0 had been given a 22 episode full season order
